Itili is based near Todi, at the heart of Umbria, in central Italy. We chose this area for its natural beauty, the quality of life and accessibility it offers and its record of consistent and reliable growth in property values.
Itili works almost entirely on direct instructions from vendors, selling homes which we have visited, measured and appraised ourselves, rather than simply re-packaging other agents' portfolios. We believe that our experience of our locality and the homes we select from the many which are offered to us, is an important factor in helping our customers to find better homes.
Among our innovative features are our panoramic Virtual Tours, groundplans, brochures and our connection to the UK's leading property web site - Rightmove - through which you can create a personalised page listing just the kind of home you are looking for.
We hope that these features provide an informative and comprehensive service to people looking for homes in Italy.
Our local knowledge also enables us to offer clients after-sales service in the early months after their purchase, by helping them find reliable tradesmen, property maintenance and holiday rental support.
In addition to our own Estate Agency work, we also offer photography, printing and marketing services to other Estate Agents.

Our service is absolutely free to buyers. In common with UK Estate Agents (but unusually for Italy) we only charge fees to vendors.
If you buy a home through Itili, you are free to choose your own intermediary or lawyer, or to rely on the legal expertise of the Notaio (a legal necessity in all property transactions) Irrespective of which you choose, Itili will furnish all necessary documents as part of our service. In this way, you may save thousands of Euros in fees.
We may occasionally offer selected homes on behalf of trusted affiliates Casambiente, Umbria Real Estate and La Porta Verde, in order to offer our customers greater choice; in this case, their normal fees will apply. We cannot help you to avoid paying fees on homes which you have seen though other agents.
Itili was launched in 2004 by Marc Wisbey and Karen Hill.
Marc Wisbey is estate agent and web site developer. He worked for 25 years as a television director, in the UK and in Rome, before leaving the TV industry to develop Itili at the start of 2004.
Karen Hill worked for Saatchi & Saatchi in Los Angeles for 9 years before coming to Italy and now brings her marketing expertise to Itili.
