Location:The attractive village of Casperia, some 70Km north of Rome, is home to some 1,000 people and has a range of shops, restaurants and bars within its mediaeval walls. It is almost totally pedestrianised, but is easily accessed by a lift from the new car park below the village. It is linked to Rome and Leonardo Da Vinci airport by a regular train service from nearby Poggio Mirteto and the A1 autostrada, some 15 minutes away. Local attractions include the thermal spas at Viterbo, skiing at Termenillo and excellent local walking and cycling areas. Viterbo airport is scheduled to open to low-cost carriers in the near future.
