A freshly-renovated medieval village house in the picturesque walled town of Bevagna.

Location: The village of Bevagna dates back to the Roman era and lies in a wide valley, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Within its moated medieval walls is a perfectly preserved network of streets and piazzas, a tiny rennaisance theatre, roman amphitheatre and several good restaurants and wine bars. There is a lively cultural scene which includes a week in June when the town recreates the atmosphere of a working medieval village. The streets of Bevagna are mostly level and the house is about 3 minutes walk from the nearest car park.

Among the nearby attractions are the towns of Montefalco, Assisi, Spello and Todi, and the cities of Perugia and Spoleto. Southern Tuscany, including Cortona, Siena, and Florence are within around 2 hour's driving. The house has excellent rental potential, in an area long popular with tourists, and would also make a splendid second home.

Perugia airport, served by Ryanair's Stansted and Girona routes is 30 minutes away, and Rome, Florence and Ancona each less than 2 hours by car.
